Move Students to Another Class (Teacher)

Whether a student joined the wrong classroom by accident or you've decided to transfer them to another of your classes, moving students within your classes is easy. Simply follow the steps below.


Pro Tip: This is for students who used the Student Self-Join link to add themselves to your teacher portal account only. Students rostered with Google Classroom, Clever, or Classlink cannot be moved to a different class within your portal. The rosters in your teacher portal will match what your district has set up in their system.


Let’s get started. 

Step 1: Log in to your Teacher Portal HERE.

Step 2: Click on "Classes” on the left-hand menu.

Step 3: Select the name of the class containing the student/s you wish to move. You may also use the search bar to locate a student.

Step 4: Once inside your class, you can select one student, a few, or all of them by checking the white box to the left of the student(s).

Step 5: Use the Bulk Actions menu and click on “Move Students”

Step 6: Now, select the class into which you want to move the student/s and click OK.
