Syncing with Clever (Teacher)

Nitro Type has an app in the Clever Library (For teachers: Library - adding applications). This version can be added by individual teachers through their Clever Portal. All of Clever's Library applications do a very simple yet secure form of rostering. If a teacher were to add Nitro Type to their Clever portal they would then have the ability to roster their classes in the free teacher portal. Teachers should be able to add the Library Version of Nitro Type by logging into your Clever Teacher Portal and searching for the app in the search bar at the top left of the page.

Let’s get started. 

Step 1: Log in to your Teacher Portal HERE. (Make sure you use the “Log in with Clever” button).

Step 2: Click on “Classes” on the left-hand menu. 

Step 3: Next click “Sync with Clever.” Follow the on-screen prompts

Student accounts can't be moved from the teacher account with which Clever matched them.

Pro tip: If the District has rolled out Nitro Type in Clever, it cannot be installed by the individual teacher. You need to remove the District app and installed it manually in your Clever Library. Currently, Nitro Type does not support rostering with Clever at the District level. The district-level version of Nitro Type is an SSO only application.
